We are ready to help folks get moving.
I'm very excited to share with you that we are now out of stealth mode and officially open for chiropractic care! Now open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am to 7pm we are ready to help you with your wellness, mobility, and care to eliminate pain. My goal is to get you where you need to go. We are located in Downtown Campbell, just across Campbell Avenue from the park at 653 E Campbell Ave. Suite 2. This blog will have many tips for you in the future, care guides on common issues and more. But for today, I'd like to share how I ended up finding this path. And I'm so glad I did.
But first, I'd like to share how I found chiropractic.
I have played baseball ever since I discovered that exciting things happen when you throw pretty much anything. "Exciting" may not be the term my mother would use, but I digress.
After a couple decades of throwing mostly baseballs, my arm started hurting from time to time, I then found a more significant episode where hurt my arm trying way too hard to throw someone out while playing slow pitch softball (yes, once upon a time I was THAT guy). A friend of a friend was watching us play and just happened to be an intern at Palmer Chiropractic College West in North San Jose. When Jamie saw me in visible discomfort with my shoulder, she mentioned that she may be able to help. She did a quick chiropractic assessment and even as an intern without equipment or facilities, she was able to tell me what was going on with my shoulder in a simple and understandable way. Jamie convinced me to come get a proper assessment and treatment. Since nothing else I had tried had really been working (medical doctors just gave me pain killers and muscle relaxers and heating, icing, resting, stretching and exercising helped but not long term) I decided to give her a chance. After three treatments in two weeks, this shoulder issue which had plagued me for months was gone. Not only was my shoulder issue gone but it was staying gone. I had never felt more comfortable throwing, and I decided to try getting a chiropractic treatment each week before my games. By the end of the season I was having the best season of my life. I had never performed better, felt better or had more fun playing ball than when I employed chiropractic as a tool to optimize my musculoskeletal function.
After a couple of seasons and multiple interns at Palmer West, a few interns had mentioned I seem passionate about chiropractic and its effect on the human condition. I distinctly remember telling myself that if one more intern tells me I should apply to Palmer to become a chiropractor that I would seriously look into it. Well as you can imagine, here I am. And I'm so glad to help my patients every day. I hope to see you soon if you need help. Stay Healthy, Dr. Adam
